2010 album by Chris Pottinger (Cotton Museum/Slither). This album is a complete cellar
-dweller horror soundtrack to a film that should have been made in 1974. Not quite
harsh, not quite mellow, this LP could only be recorded in a depressing, moldy Michigan
basement. Saxophone, analog synth, zither, and who knows what else are used to create
this album. Deluxe full color LP jackets, full color center labels with a B&W poster
of a mutant autopsy gone wrong. This LP plays at 45 rpm and is limited to 400 hand

Primarily composed using a Serge modular synthesizer, Roland Space-Echo and other
custom electronic instruments, 'Hatching Extraction' consists of eight tracks of
horrid electronics clocking in at just over 40 minutes. Crawling and claustrophobic
sounds of nocturnal rituals. Experiments performed deep beneath the tangled roots.
A regiment of dripping sap pumping life into swollen larvae. Hatching and squirming,
emerging from their eggs. Forever entombed and secluded within the earth, fearing the
sounds of a life underground. Limited to 500 hand numbered copies, complete with
double sided insert and digital download card. Recorded July 2011 through January 2012

Composed at home in Michigan using a Buchla modular synthesizer, this album contains
selected recordings made between 2011 and 2016. Lonely sounds drift up from beneath
the murky fluid. Experience the life cycle of an aquatic creature, stalked by parasites
and hungry to feed. Covered in leeches, growing plump from gulping its blood.
A quivering fleshy lump, confused and clogged with algae. 'Stagnant Secretion' is
limited to 400 hand numbered copies, presented in a deluxe Stoughton tip-on LP jacket
with amazing artwork created by Chris Pottinger. This album also includes an 11x11
insert and MP3 download card.
